The Express membership program (now known as Instacart+) is introduced, offering customers unlimited free delivery for a low monthly subscription fee.

Instacart continues to expand EBT SNAP payment integration nationwide, then acquires FoodStorm and Caper AI to bolster retailer technology offerings—all while welcoming new CEO Fidji Simo.

Instacart launches Instacart Platform, a full suite of end-to-end solutions, enabling retailers to grow their businesses; acquires Rosie and Eversight.
